Feel like you’re Helplessly hanging around as hatred divides the world into madness? We have no direct power to bring peace to the warring corners of the planet, but we CAN cultivate it here (points to heart), and in our own relationships. While there won’t be actual bombs or guns, going “home” for the holidays can sure feel like a battle, reminding us- myself included - of how critical, judgmental, invalidating or otherwise challenging our “homes” were. And yet the holidays have a beautiful way of lifting our faces to the light. This season, let’s focus on creating kindness and emotional safety in whatever home we find ourselves. Instead of helplessly hanging around, hearing horrible news, join me, and harness the holiday energy to usher into our own little corners of the world the loving conditions we also wish to see out there.
