fMy mother died of breast cancer at 56. A close friend’s dealing with it now. One fearful but healthy client’s about to cut off her breasts, and another can barely function - she’s so frightened of getting it. Utmost respect to all beautiful humans affected, but I’m sick of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We’re all yaaay about awareness, but our systems put almost no focus on or money behind prevention. I can’t even find relevant prevention quotes. Science knows a lot about prevention, but very few Americans do. I bet you know chop, burn and poison though - surgery, radiation and chemo. As rates skyrocket, not curing cancer makes our sick care system billions every year, but not preventing it destroys more American lives than necessary. True caring puts focus and money upstream towards prevention. If it’s really about our health, we’d have a breast cancer prevention month, right? I’m Rev Doc Lisa, IntegralHealer, and I’m with you on the Journey.
